Can I manage group classes and private sessions in the same calendar?
Yes. Group classes run on capacity, and private sessions are booked as appointments based on instructor availability. Both appear in the same calendar, and double-booking the same instructor or equipment is blocked.
How does a Pilates booking system work?
You set up your weekly schedule once, and classes are added weeks ahead automatically. Members choose a class and a machine in Mobile; booking holds a session, and attending deducts it. You set the free cancellation window, and late cancellations and no-shows forfeit the session. Turn on Studio Mode, and members without a booking for that time can't get through the turnstile.
I don't have a turnstile. Can I still use it?
Yes. Without a turnstile, instructors take attendance with one tap in Mobile. Add a turnstile, and attendance becomes automatic.
How do I set up duet and trio sessions?
Create them as a class type with a capacity of 2 or 3, then link your session packs to that class type.
What should I look for in Pilates studio software?
Check that members can pick their reformer when they book, that session packs are deducted correctly through bookings, that late cancellation rules and an automatic waitlist are built in, that attendance is taken at the turnstile or with one tap, and that instructor commissions are calculated for you. Also ask whether your current members and their sessions left can be moved over.
